How It All Began…
In a household with three young girls, you can imagine the chaos of running around the house, Barbies lying on the floor, taking our mom’s heels, and playing “pretend” fantasying what it would be like attending fashion school… which oddly enough foreshadowed our reality today. After Barbies were out, filmmaking became the new medium of playing “pretend.” We were fixated on altering our reality (as great as it was) through a lens and storytelling, which subconsciously stimulated the creativity within us.
A medium of entertainment that stuck with us was sitcom — laughter that fulfilled the moment.
As we grow older, we recognize our younger selves within us — as much as we think we’ve changed, those passions never go away.
When reflecting on our childhood, we asked ourselves what drove us to be in the place we are now. Reflecting upon that question, the answer was simple. If we could pursue a career that felt as exhilarating and explorative as playing “pretend,” we were doing something right. It’s so important to strive to find purpose and add value to this world. As creatives, we want to do just that through fashion & film.
